To continue innovating JA’s modernized brand, the JA Brand Amplification Award recognizes JA locations that have extended and amplified our brand most effectively, through a marketing campaign, social-media post, ad, video, booklet, report, speech, article, website, poster, or other marketing collateral. (Note that great messaging is just as eligible for this award as great design is!)

Three winners will be awarded. Winning submissions will be innovative, taking creative license with the brand while still adhering to the “fixed” elements of the JA Brand Guidelines. Submissions are eligible only if they have been publicly launched or posted. Winners must have transitioned their website, social media, and recent reports with the modernized JA brand. The winners will also be asked to share their submissions with the rest of the JA network in an editable format.

JA locations may enter one or two submissions; submitting more than two will lead to disqualification. If you submit a URL that includes several examples, please be specific about the one you are submitting (“second from the right” or “lower-left corner,” for example). Submissions can be co-branded with a partner or with another JA location. Submissions must be original and created by an employee at the JA location or by a freelancer or agency hired by that JA location. The JA location must be in good financial position with a positive net asset position and, if a JA member, must be a Member in Good Standing throughout the year.

  • Required documentation: Up to two submissions of publicly released branded creative work.

  • Judging committee: JA Worldwide Senior Leadership Team, JA Worldwide Board of Governors, and JA Global Marketing Committee, totaling five to nine people (odd number).
