JA Youth Advocacy and Alumni Impact Award
All JA locations (ROCs, members, subnationals, and local areas) are eligible.
This award celebrates a JA location that co-creates exceptional projects, partnerships, and campaigns with its alumni community to elevate youth voice and leadership. The focus is not only on building and maintaining a strong, sustainable JA alumni network, but also on activating students and alumni as co-creators and leaders in initiatives that empower young people to advocate for what matters to them, take on leadership roles, and create meaningful change.
The JA location must demonstrate strong collaboration with its alumni community that supports advocacy, volunteering, community building, and/or fundraising. Alumni should be engaged as co-creators, mentors, and advocates—not just supporters. Initiatives must reflect JA’s mission while amplifying youth voice, leadership, and stories. The location must also be in good financial standing, with a positive net asset position and, if applicable, be a Member in Good Standing throughout the year.

JA Activator Award
All JA locations (ROCs, members, subnationals, and local areas) are eligible.
This award recognizes the JA location that best activates learning experiences and ideas developed by others within JA. This award is intended to celebrate one of the most important characteristics of good leadership: the willingness to learn from others and execute someone else’s ideas that are not your own. These ideas can be learning experiences or projects that promote student reach, fundraising initiatives, volunteer engagement, board engagement, and more.
The project must demonstrate that it promotes the vision of JA, as well as positive and tangible outcomes in the areas of resource generation, operational efficiency, or program growth. The JA location must be in good financial position with a positive net asset position and, if a JA member, must be a Member in Good Standing throughout the year.
Required documentation: Executive summary describing the adoption of learning experiences or ideas and the strategies used to create a structure for success; description of satisfactory outcomes for the JA location involved, including a brief summary of where the idea/learning experience/strategy originally came from and where it was implemented.
Process: JA Worldwide will accept nominations for the JA Activator Award through September 22, 2025.
JA Growth and Impact Award
All JA locations (ROCs, members, subnationals, and local areas) are eligible.
This award recognizes a JA location that has demonstrated growth in all three segments of JA learning experiences—Inspire, Prepare, Succeed (IPS)—in addition to measuring the outputs and outcomes of JA student learning experiences. Growth in output (data about student reach, contact hours, etc.) should be consistent with JA’s methodology for segmenting student learning experiences via IPS. The outcome measurement should be related to the elements of JA’s four impact areas: youth entrepreneurship, employability and tech readiness, economic empowerment, and educating for future skills.
Required documentation: Executive summary describing IPS (output) growth since 2023 and describing or linking to impact (outcome) study or measurement related to at least one of JA’s four impact areas.
Process: JA Worldwide will accept nominations for the JA Growth and Impact Award through September 22, 2025.
JA Brand Amplification Award
All JA locations (ROCs, members, subnationals, and local areas) are eligible.
To continue amplifying JA’s brand, the JA Brand Amplification Award recognizes a JA location that has extended and amplified our brand most effectively, through a marketing campaign, social-media post, ad, video, booklet, report, speech, article, website, poster, or any other marketing initiative.
The winning submission will be innovative, taking creative license with the brand while still adhering to the “fixed” elements of the JA Brand Guidelines. Submissions are eligible only if the initiative has publicly launched or posted. Winners must have fully transitioned their website, social media, and recent reports with the modernized JA brand. The winner will also be asked to share its submissions with the rest of the JA network in an editable format.
Submissions may be original and created by an employee at the JA location or by a freelancer or agency hired by that JA location or may build off another JA location’s work, in which case both members will share the prize. The JA location must be in good financial position with a positive net asset position and, if a JA member, must be a Member in Good Standing throughout the year.
Required documentation: Executive summary describing the marketing initiative that showcased the JA brand, focusing in particular on brand innovation that stays within the few fixed elements of the JA Brand Guidelines. Include the name of any agency or freelancer who had a significant stake in the initiative, as needed.
Process: JA Worldwide will accept nominations for the JA Brand Amplification Award through September 22, 2025.
