Global Business Hall of Fame

The Global Business Hall of Fame, presented by JA Worldwide, is a virtual exhibit that features top entrepreneurs and business leaders spanning the last two centuries. From the inventor of blue jeans to the co-founder of one of the world’s leading biotech companies, young people will find a diverse set of influencers to kindle their entrepreneurial spirit.

Inspiring Youth Since 1975

From 1975 to 2009, the Business Hall of Fame inducted 247 celebrated laureates. Some were founders of successful companies. Others were CEOs, industry pioneers, or publishers. Each demonstrated a commitment to their communities, both locally and globally.

Each Global Business Hall of Fame Laureate inspires the millions of young people who are preparing for employment and entrepreneurship.

Since 2009, JA and the landscape of business have evolved. So, too, has the Global Business Hall of Fame, which relaunched in 2020. Our newest Laureates are reflective of our global reach into over 100 countries, of the diversity of JA students, and of the many ways in which the business world has changed since 1975. We’re committed to ensuring representation from women, from countries around the world, and from a wide range of diverse industries.

Global Business Hall of Fame FastTrack Nominations

Local Entrepreneurs. Global Stage.

Nominate an inspiring leader for the Global Business Hall of Fame. Five minutes of effort for a lifetime of potential impact.

Inspiring leaders in your local, national, or regional market build companies, create jobs, shape industries, and show young people what’s possible. The Global Business Hall of Fame is a simple path to elevate one of those leaders . . . and elevate your JA location at the same time.

JA offices qualify for JA FastTrack: Just three details required.

This year, JA network nominations have a separate internal track. All you do is submit:

  • Name

  • Company

  • Country

We’ll handle the full nomination form from there.

Why nominate?

  1. It’s a strategic door-opener—instantly.
A nomination gives you a natural, credible reason to reach out to a founder, CEO, or senior executive and begin (or deepen) a relationship grounded in recognition and respect. We can even provide outreach language to make that introduction smooth and simple.

  2. Global visibility for your JA office if your local leader is inducted.
If your nominee becomes a Laureate, your JA office will shine in a global press release, global blog post, and on the Laureate’s multimedia page on the Global Business Hall of Fame website.

  3. A powerful, practical role model for your community’s young people.
Laureates aren’t celebrities from a distant world; they’re business leaders who have reached the top of their field. Their stories create realistic role models for students and strengthen the belief that success is buildable.

  4. Ready-to-use examples for teachers and classrooms.
Laureates provide real-world entrepreneurship and leadership stories that educators can bring directly into classroom learning experiences.

  5. A year of connection opportunities for Laureates.
JA Worldwide engages Laureates throughout their induction year—as keynote speakers, judges, and ambassadors—creating meaningful opportunities to connect locally and across the network.

Submit your JA FastTrack nomination today.

We’ll do the heavy lifting. You’ll get the benefits.
