JA Member Document Updates: Need Your Feedback

We have some new updates to the Operational Framework, and we need your feedback.

You may recall that we made a major update to our member documents two years ago using a similar consultation process. Please provide your comments or specific feedback in the form below. Note that these changes to the Operational Framework do not require a member vote, but they do require approval by the Board of Governors. We look forward to your feedback! Please use the form below to submit feedback by December 6.

You can find the current (October 2022) Member Agreement and Operational Framework in the Member Operations section of OneJA.

Background

The Member Agreement and Operational Framework (previously called Policies and Procedures) was first adopted in 2014 and amended in Oct 2022. Each Member has signed both a “License Agreement” and “Accession Notice,” which is auto-renewed every five years. Non-originating members also have signed addendums. Changes to the Member Agreement are approved with a minimum 30% of votes, with each Member in Good Standing casting one vote. The Operational Framework is a fundamental part of the Member Agreement. Changes to the Operational Framework are made through a consultation process with the regional operating centers, Members, and Member Council, and then approved by the Board of Governors.
